Assembly christian church John 3:16 is a Pentecostal Assembly of God church. It is a Spanish eastern district church, located in the South Bronx. Service are bilingual , in Spanish and English . Services are held three times a week. Pastor Rev. Milton Caban has been leading the church for 13 years along side his wife of 46 years Haydee Caban. Their family focuses their outreach on the Hispanic community of the South Bronx, specifically children and young people although age rang of member’s range, with a large percentage being elderly. Caban’s ministry of 30 years has always focused on the youth. He was a Royal Ranger’s councilor for several years, mentoring young men in the ways of Christ. Caban is also known with the district as a ”supporter of the youth”. The church offers Sunday school classes for children and adults, along with children’s church during the service, a children’s worship group and community activities through the year.
